Ladies and gentlemen, it's almost time to dig! Spring is in the air, and our doors are just about ready to open. After April 13th, you can all enter our greenhouses to enjoy a stroll through the color of spring and again experience that welcoming scent of of fresh soil and flowers.
In our nine greenhouses you'll find annuals, perennials, herbs and vegetable plants. And outside, hardier perennials will be available. Anything outside of the greenhouses can tolerate the roller coaster early spring weather.
Easter plants will still be on sale until April 3rd. Greenhouse 7 is brimming with colorful tulips, lilies, daffodils, hyacinths and mixed baskets. We can also create custom containers of Easter plants. Simply bring in your own container(s), give us two days and we will create a special arrangement perfect for your chosen container.
The Gift Shop is also stocked with some new finds and tons of other unique items to give to friends, family and, of course, yourself.
Classes will not be starting in April, but we'll soon be posting info, so watch our website for details.
Believe it or not, our giant pumpkin growers are already thinking about their big orange babies! In fact, we'll be holding the 2010 SNGPG Seminar for the community of giant pumpkin growers, but everyone is invited to attend. There will be lots of free items -- pumpkin plants, seeds, food and presentations by past growers. The free seminar will be held April 25th from noon - 3 pm.
It's just the beginning of the season...there's a lot more fun to come, and we look forward to sharing it with all of you.
