September is here and it’s the ideal time for outdoor activities. The pleasant temps this time of the year motivated us to move our popular Fantasy Faire to from steamy July to September. Plus, the Faire will now run an entire weekend, September 8-9, and is a fun family event for all ages. There's no admission fee or parking charge. Leisurely roam the grounds through the fairy walkway and the pirate boat, ride the dragon, shop the vendors and feel free to get into the spirit of things by wearing your own mythical costume.
This is also the month when our Pumpkin Palooza weekends kick off. The weekends-only activities begin Saturday, September 8th and continue through the end of October.
Don’t forget the main reason why we’re here—plants! Now is the time to intersperse your garden with hardy fall varieties that will keep the color and texture going well into the colder months. Our huge field of mums is a beautiful array of colors and sizes. Stop by soon for the best choice. If you ever need information or suggestions, just ask. We love to help.
September is a big month here at Frerichs Farm. We hope to see you!

Fall Plants
Hardy fall plants are an easy way to keep your garden fresh and colorful as we move into the cooler months. In addition to mums, the fall staple, we have a good stock of large ornamental cabbage, kale, colorful ornamental peppers and a lot more. Stop by soon for the best variety.
